2019-2020 School Year
Parents and Families—this year’s main fundraiser is the Woodside PTA Fun Run! It’s a two-week program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on September 30th. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps) which will happen on October 11th. This year our goal is to raise $15,000 for Art Classes, Pacific Science Center Visit to School, Taproot Theater Anti-Bullying Ass...embly, and more! We need your help! We’ve asked the experts at Booster to power our fundraiser to make it easier, more profitable, and more fun.
Students will also experience an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK: WILD WEST! Booster’s most exciting theme yet combines S.T.E.A.M. skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building. While they're teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to save Dr. Shock, our students will learn five character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.
Donations will go toward educational and school community programs and the entire two-week experience. So please help our school by getting pledges from family and friends and entering them on FUNRUN.COM. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on our students at the Woodside PTA Fun Run. Thanks so much for your support!

Fundraising Opportunities

Our fundraising efforts are essential in accomplishing our school's mission: to provide a place where each one of our students will be empowered to reach their highest academic and social potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

The funds we raise are crucial in providing educational opportunities for our students. To name a few, PTA funds pay for the Pacific Science Center Bus to visit our school; 5th Grade Space Camp; and the Art Docent program - a volunteer-run program to make up for the fact that we do not have a government-funded art class. We also use these funds for our school community building events like our Field Day; 5th Grade Celebration; and Multicultural Night.
